Dekka Danse - Immagnetized (Extended Version) 12" 1984

British New Wave band who released the LP “Waltz in the Wilderness” in 1984, as well as a few singles, including “A Key For Every Occasion” (1982), “Soul Separation” and “Immagnetized” (1984). I compare this band to Fiction Factory.

The Mexican Spitfires - Lupe Velez

The Mexican Spitfires were a Sydney, Australia-based indie rock–indie pop band formed in suburban Strathfield in the Strathfield Municipality in the mid 1980s. The band's debut six-track 12-inch EP Lupe Velez was released in 1988. The first EP was an immediate success on the independent charts, moving straight into the top 5 in Sydney and scoring the band significant airplay for the songs "Sydney Town", "You Can't Run" and "Town Hall Steps".

Blue Peter - Don't Walk Past (F Version) 12" (1983)

Another 12" off my want list. It's not that hard to find record but I have to shop around to get a better deal. I posted the 7" version in January along with 2 of their stand out songs from their album "Falling". This is one of those song that registers in your mind the first time you hear it. By the way, Blue Peter was a Canadian new wave synthpop band in the early 1980s.

The Climb - I Can't Forget (A Mother's Crime) (Version) 12" 1981

Finally, the search for this rare 12" single is over. One more record off my want list. I didn't realize that this song has an extended version until I got my copy. I've been wanting to post this one since last week but I didn't have time to rip the vinyl until last night. FYI, The 12" B-side is different from the 7". I will try to post the 7" version of the Climb and as well as the B-Side (Only A Human). The Band released only 2 singles plus some demos and eventually transistioned to the Trashing Doves. I haven't ripped their single "Touch Me (Heaven)" but you can refer to one of my friend's blogspot for download. Here's the link. http://cino-pacino.blogspot.com/2009/07/climb-touch-meheaven-7-1982.html
